Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how AtlantisFX Oy handles refund requests, cancellations, subscriptions, one-time digital services, custom project work, client-approved deliverables, EU consumer withdrawal rights, payment processor refunds, and billing-related disputes.

Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is part of the AtlantisFX Terms of Service. It applies when you purchase, subscribe to, request, approve, or pay for AtlantisFX services.

AtlantisFX provides digital and professional services. These may include AI visibility analysis, SEO infrastructure review, website analysis, automation planning, business workflow support, client portal access, reporting, web implementation, content structure recommendations, and project-specific consulting.

Many AtlantisFX services involve work that begins before a final report or final implementation is delivered. This may include research, technical review, website inspection, AI-assisted analysis, planning, drafting, configuration, project setup, client communication, or custom reporting. Because this work is digital and client-specific, refund eligibility depends on the service type, work status, delivery status, subscription period, client category, and mandatory legal rights.

Plain-language summary: If work has not started, cancellation and refund options are usually broader. If work has started, been delivered, customized, accessed, used, approved, or reserved for your project, refunds may be limited, partial, or unavailable unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Services Covered by This Policy

This Policy applies to AtlantisFX digital services and client-facing workflows, including but not limited to the following:

AI Visibility Services

AI search readiness, entity clarity, answer-engine visibility, AI discoverability checks, content structure recommendations, and machine-readable trust signals.

SEO Infrastructure

Technical SEO review, metadata review, page structure review, indexing readiness, internal linking recommendations, content planning, and visibility improvement support.

Website Analysis

Website performance review, UX review, content review, local presence analysis, trust signal review, technical diagnostics, and professional website improvement recommendations.

Automation Services

AI automation planning, workflow design, lead handling logic, reporting workflows, business process automation, integrations, testing, and implementation support.

Client Portal Services

Client dashboard access, project status, reports, files, messages, workflow views, plan status, payment status, and account-related service areas.

Recurring Plans

Monthly services, subscriptions, retainers, ongoing support, monitoring, reporting, automation maintenance, or recurring AI/SEO visibility services.

If a proposal, order form, checkout page, invoice, subscription confirmation, statement of work, or signed agreement contains more specific refund or cancellation terms, those specific terms apply to that service unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Business Clients and Consumer Customers

AtlantisFX services are primarily intended for businesses, entrepreneurs, professionals, website owners, agencies, clinics, consultants, local businesses, and organizations. Business-to-business purchases usually do not include the same statutory withdrawal rights that may apply to consumers.

If you purchase AtlantisFX services as a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules may apply. Nothing in this Policy removes rights that cannot legally be waived under Finnish, EU, US federal, US state, or other applicable mandatory consumer law.

If you are buying as a consumer rather than as a business or professional client, you should inform AtlantisFX before purchase, especially if you request immediate service start, urgent analysis, digital delivery, custom work, subscription access, or AI-assisted processing during a statutory withdrawal period.

EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If you are an EU consumer purchasing online or at a distance, you may have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from certain contracts without giving a reason. The exact start date, scope, exceptions, and consequences depend on the type of contract and applicable consumer law.

For service contracts, the withdrawal period generally starts when the contract is concluded. If you expressly request that AtlantisFX begins the service during the withdrawal period, you may be required to pay a proportional amount for the service already performed before you withdraw.

If the service has been fully performed with your prior express request and acknowledgement that you may lose the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed, the statutory withdrawal right may end according to applicable law.

For digital content or digital services supplied electronically, special consumer rules may apply. These rules can be different from physical goods. If you request immediate access, immediate performance, downloadable output, AI-assisted reports, custom digital analysis, or online delivery during a withdrawal period, refund and cancellation rights may be affected if the legal conditions for starting performance are met.

EU consumer note: If you are an EU consumer and do not want AtlantisFX to start work during a withdrawal period, do not request immediate analysis, immediate access, immediate digital delivery, urgent setup, or immediate implementation before the period has ended.

Digital Services and Work Already Started

AtlantisFX services are usually digital, professional, and client-specific. They may include research, review, configuration, communication, content analysis, AI-assisted processing, project planning, website diagnostics, SEO recommendations, automation logic, or report creation.

Once AtlantisFX has started meaningful work, allocated time, reviewed your website, processed materials, prepared recommendations, configured tools, created a client workspace, drafted outputs, generated a report, or otherwise performed service activity, a full refund may no longer be available unless required by law or agreed in writing.

Depending on the situation, AtlantisFX may offer one of the following:

  • a full refund if no work has started and no non-recoverable cost has been incurred;
  • a partial refund for the portion of work not yet performed;
  • a correction, clarification, replacement, or revision if a deliverable has a verified defect;
  • a service credit for future AtlantisFX work;
  • a project pause, rescheduling, or revised scope where commercially reasonable;
  • no refund where the service is complete, delivered, accessed, used, approved, or non-refundable under applicable terms.

One-Time Services

One-time services may include fixed-scope website audits, AI visibility reviews, SEO infrastructure checks, automation planning, technical setup, consulting sessions, report packages, WordPress support, or other defined digital work.

Before work starts Refund may be available, minus any lawful non-recoverable payment, administrative, or third-party costs.
After analysis starts Refund may be partial or unavailable depending on the work already performed.
After delivery Refund is normally unavailable unless there is a verified defect that AtlantisFX cannot reasonably correct.
After approval or use Refund is normally unavailable for work that has been accepted, used, downloaded, implemented, or relied upon.

If a one-time service is materially incomplete or materially different from the confirmed scope, AtlantisFX should first be given a reasonable opportunity to review the issue and correct, clarify, complete, or replace the deliverable.

Subscriptions, Monthly Plans, and Recurring Services

AtlantisFX may offer recurring services such as monthly plans, ongoing SEO support, AI visibility monitoring, reporting, automation maintenance, client portal access, workflow support, or business visibility improvement services.

Unless a specific plan states otherwise, cancelling a subscription stops future renewal charges. Cancellation does not automatically refund fees already charged for a current or completed billing period.

If a billing period has already started, AtlantisFX may continue providing access or service until the end of that paid period, unless the applicable subscription terms, technical setup, payment system, or mandatory law provides otherwise.

If a subscription includes immediate access to digital features, reports, dashboards, monitoring, technical workflows, automation logic, or ongoing support, refund eligibility may be limited once access or service performance has started.

Cancellation principle: AtlantisFX aims to keep subscription cancellation clear and reasonable. Where a service is purchased online and a cancellation channel is operationally available, AtlantisFX aims to provide a written or online cancellation route.

Custom Work, Strategy, Reports, and Implementation

Custom work means work created, prepared, reviewed, configured, written, designed, coded, analyzed, or implemented for your specific business, website, account, project, data, content, market, workflow, or brand.

Custom work may include AI visibility reports, SEO audits, content recommendations, automation maps, website structure guidance, client portal configuration, WordPress adjustments, payment workflow support, technical setup, or tailored business growth strategy.

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, custom work is normally non-refundable once started, because it is client-specific and cannot be returned or resold in the same way as a physical product.

If custom work has not started and no third-party cost has been incurred, cancellation may be possible. If work has started, AtlantisFX may calculate any refund based on the portion not yet performed, less lawful non-recoverable costs.

Third-Party Costs, Tools, Plugins, Domains, and External Services

Some projects may involve third-party costs, including domains, hosting, premium WordPress themes, plugins, APIs, AI tools, analytics tools, automation platforms, email tools, stock assets, payment processing fees, advertising spend, translation, legal review, or external software subscriptions.

Unless AtlantisFX states otherwise in writing, third-party costs are not included in AtlantisFX service fees and may be non-refundable once purchased, reserved, licensed, activated, downloaded, used, connected, or billed by the third-party provider.

AtlantisFX is not responsible for refund decisions, cancellation rules, renewal charges, account restrictions, pricing changes, service outages, or policy changes imposed by third-party providers.

Cases Where Refunds May Be Refused

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, AtlantisFX may refuse a refund where:

  • the service has been fully performed or delivered;
  • custom analysis, reporting, configuration, or implementation has started;
  • you requested immediate service performance and AtlantisFX has started work;
  • you received, accessed, downloaded, used, approved, or relied on the deliverable;
  • the issue results from incorrect, incomplete, delayed, or missing information provided by you;
  • you changed your mind after work started, unless mandatory withdrawal rights apply;
  • you failed to provide access, materials, approvals, instructions, or cooperation required for delivery;
  • the service was suspended because of non-payment, abuse, security risk, or breach of terms;
  • third-party tools, licenses, plugins, domains, hosting, APIs, or payment processor charges are non-refundable;
  • the refund request is made after substantial completion or after a reasonable review period;
  • the request is based only on rankings, traffic, leads, sales, revenue, AI search appearance, or other outcomes that AtlantisFX did not guarantee.

AtlantisFX does not guarantee first-page Google rankings, AI search inclusion, ChatGPT-style answer appearance, local map ranking, organic traffic growth, conversions, sales, leads, revenue, platform approval, indexing speed, or third-party algorithm behavior.

Refund Review, Payment Method, and Processing Time

AtlantisFX reviews refund requests individually. The review may include checking the payment record, service scope, delivery status, project communication, work performed, third-party costs, subscription period, legal rights, and evidence provided by the client.

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method where technically possible and legally appropriate. If the original method is unavailable, expired, closed, failed, or blocked, AtlantisFX may request additional information to identify a reasonable alternative method.

After AtlantisFX initiates an approved refund, the time needed for the funds to appear depends on the payment processor, bank, card network, payment method, country, currency, fraud checks, and intermediary systems. AtlantisFX cannot guarantee exact bank processing times after the refund has been submitted.

Currency conversion, bank charges, card issuer fees, payment provider charges, and exchange-rate differences may affect the final amount received. AtlantisFX is not responsible for fees imposed by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

How to Cancel a Service or Subscription

To cancel a service, plan, subscription, or recurring arrangement, contact AtlantisFX through the official contact channel or use the client portal, billing area, or cancellation option where such an option is available.

Your cancellation request should include:

  • your full name or company name;
  • the email address used for the order;
  • the service, plan, invoice, project, or subscription being cancelled;
  • the payment date and payment method, if available;
  • whether you are cancelling future renewals only or requesting a refund review;
  • a short explanation if you want AtlantisFX to review a service issue.
Important: Blocking a payment card, deleting a payment method, ignoring an invoice, or opening a chargeback does not automatically cancel a service agreement. You should send a clear cancellation request to AtlantisFX.

How to Request a Refund

Refund requests should be submitted through the official AtlantisFX contact channel. Provide enough information for AtlantisFX to identify the order, payment, service, and reason for the request.

Step 1 Identify the order

Provide your name, company, email address, invoice number, payment date, and service name.

Step 2 Explain the request

State whether you request cancellation, full refund, partial refund, correction, replacement, or service credit.

Step 3 Include evidence

Add screenshots, messages, receipts, delivery references, or project notes if they help explain the issue.

Step 4 Wait for review

AtlantisFX will review the request based on service status, scope, payment records, and applicable law.

Chargebacks, Payment Disputes, and Reversals

If you believe a payment is incorrect, duplicated, unauthorized, or connected to a service issue, you should first contact AtlantisFX so the matter can be reviewed and resolved where possible.

A chargeback, payment dispute, or forced reversal may delay service delivery, suspend account access, pause project work, and require AtlantisFX to provide evidence to the payment processor, bank, or card network.

Opening a chargeback for a service that was properly authorized, started, delivered, accessed, or used may be treated as a payment dispute under the Terms of Service. AtlantisFX reserves the right to suspend services, revoke unpaid access, and recover lawful costs connected to improper disputes where permitted by law.

US Customers and State-Specific Rights

If you are located in the United States, refund, subscription, cancellation, automatic renewal, disclosure, and consumer protection rights may depend on federal law, state law, payment network rules, and the specific service purchased.

AtlantisFX aims to use clear pricing, clear service descriptions, clear subscription information, reasonable cancellation processes, and transparent refund review practices. However, US rules may vary by state and may change over time.

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable US federal or state law. If an applicable US law gives you a mandatory cancellation, renewal notice, refund, or subscription right, AtlantisFX will review the request according to that mandatory requirement.

EU and Finland Consumer Notes

If Finnish or EU consumer protection law applies, mandatory consumer rights may include pre-contract information rights, withdrawal rights, digital service rights, correction rights, price reduction, cancellation, complaint rights, or other mandatory protections depending on the situation.

For digital content or digital services, consumer rights may apply if a paid digital service is defective, not supplied, not corrected within a reasonable time, or materially different from what was agreed. In such cases, AtlantisFX should usually be given a reasonable opportunity to review and correct the issue unless applicable law provides otherwise.

If you are a consumer in Finland or elsewhere in the EU and you believe statutory consumer rights apply, clearly state this in your refund or cancellation request so AtlantisFX can review the matter under the correct legal framework.
